🏀 Drillz & Skillz Basketball Camp

👟 Ages 11–16
Presented in collaboration with the TCI Sports Commission, this camp helps players of all skill levels develop their fundamentals, improve technique, and build confidence on the court.

🌍 Eco-Explorers Journalism Youth Camp
📅 August 10–14
🕘 9am – 2pm
👤 Ages 13+
Perfect for aspiring writers, photographers, and environmental advocates! Participants will snorkel coral reefs, tag sea turtles, visit a coral lab, interview experts, and learn about conservation while gaining real-world journalism experience.

Facilitated by international environmental journalist Teresa Tomassoni and marine biologist Katherine Hart.

What a week!

Our 2026 Edward Gartland Youth Centre Hospitality Soft Skills Training Program has officially wrapped up, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything our participants accomplished.

Now in its second year, this initiative is designed to bridge the gap between education and employment by equipping young people with the essential skills, confidence, and professional tools needed for success in the hospitality industry and beyond.

Throughout the week, participants strengthened key workplace competencies, including communication, customer service, teamwork, professionalism, workplace etiquette, and interview skills, helping them become career-ready as they prepare to enter the workforce.

A sincere thank you to Wymara Resort and Villas for your continued support and commitment to this impactful program. We also extend our gratitude to our partner resorts and industry professionals for investing their time, knowledge, and expertise in helping shape the next generation of hospitality professionals in the Turks and Caicos Islands.
